Truck Drivers More Aware of Human Trafficking Crisis

With the endless work of such organizations as the Chapter 61 Ministries and Truckers Against Trafficking, truck drivers are becoming more aware and alert about the human trafficking crisis in America.  As related in our previous post, One Phone Call from Truck Driver Rescues Nine, truckers across the nation are standing up and fighting back against the trafficking industry.  Largely targeting young girls, these victims often are forced to “work” at truck stops across the nation.

The National Association of Truck Stop Owners (NATSO) has yet to fully come on board in the assistance to provide more awareness to this criminal activity.  Chapter 61 Ministries continues to ask for their help and is hopeful that they will join in on this on-going effort.
