Trucker Family Needs Our Help

Raymond Neumann Family

    by Allen Smith

Raymond Neumann was a veteran truck driver hauling gasoline within the State of Florida.  A beloved father and friend, he passed away on June 7th, 2008 after he swerved to miss a pick up truck that had lost control on a wet, slick road way at the intersection of I-75 and Highway 301.  Although I did not know him, I feel it is important to remember his family during this time, as they approach their first Christmas Holiday without their father.

A memorial site has been set up and any donations that you can spare to help our fellow trucking family would be a blessing.  Please visit their site which was created by his children, and help any way you can.  I’m sure it will be greatly appreciated.   Here’s the site:

If you are hauling gasoline, a out-of-control pickup truck swerves in front of you on a wet, slippery road. You slow the truck down, and crash into the pickup. Will your driving record be charged ?

When is your CDL charged with an accident ?

Depends on a lot of things. The police have to determine if the accident was unavoidable, if you were going too fast, etc.. There’s many factors involved. What did the report say?

  3. Daniel Smalls

If you hit anyone froom behind you are subject to get a ticket for following to close , for you are suppose to have control of your vechicle at all times and govern your speed to the conditions including traffic

What do you have to say about this?
