The Premier iPhone Trucking App – Trucker – will be released and in the iTunes store next week.

Unlike  standard iPhone applications, Trucker has the ability to be updated on a daily basis. Therefore, the first trucker
app
on iPhone will always be providing new and fresh content for the user. This ability also allows the user to play a big
role
in the development of the trucker app. Drivers can submit ideas and suggestions for content that they would like to see
on Trucker, and if approved, it can be added. This one ability alone, makes the Trucker App a revolutionary iPhone application!

Stay tuned to AskTheTrucker for exact date and time.

Great stuff Allen – can’t wait to dig into more of the details on this one

I have a smartphone – a Blackjack II – and it’s a pain in the a** for most every function… especially while driving! I’ll stick my laptop, save some money for Co-Pilot or convince Delorme to come up with a CMV version of their Street Atlas Plus mapping software and GPS receiver – under $150. Very deep app but user-friendly, flexable and well worth the investment..
    Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Allen.

Great idea long time coming. Truckers will finally have a real entrance ramp to the information highway. Trucking information will become readily available trucking podcasting and internet radio will be available for this very special niche. This is in addition to routing, weather road conditions, load information. AWESOME

Why do I have to be on wifi to watch videos? I’m on a wifi hotspot now and keep getting a message that I need to connect to wifi to watch videos.

This happens to us sometimes too. It’s an iPhone Problem What we do to eliminate the problem is turn it on and off. That seems to resolve it. Hope the new iPhone doesn’t have these issues.
    Donna

What do you have to say about this?
