Leasing a truck and starting your own trucking business is a serious step for the want-to-be owner operator.  Knowing the right questions to ask and understanding the lease agreement is the first step in assuring that you, the driver will get the best deal.

Many new drivers starting out as an owner operator will most often begin with one of the starter trucking companies lease purchase programs, which have a high driver failure rate.  Our trucking company lease purchase survey shows the final result from 3,611 drivers, concerning these company truck leases.
