Television crew to film documentary during truck driver convention

Truck Driver Social Media ConventionA television production company will be attending the 2nd Annual Truck Driver Social Media Convention.

They are filming a documentary for the Investigation Discovery channel, covering some of the most publicized serial killings on our nation’s highways in which many well known perpetrators have been truckers.

However, the film crew will not just be focusing on the crimes. They will also be interviewing truck drivers, giving them a voice and getting their perspective on how those cases have at times, tarnished the industry.

The film crew will provide a platform to talk about the honest, hard working men and woman within the world of trucking and the challenges they face.

As is well documented, many truck drivers have been victims of crime, and the documentary seeks to shine a light on the high level of criminality professional truckers themselves are frequently exposed to.

We want the truckers voice to be heard in this program. If you are attending the convention and have insight on why some of these criminals are attracted to the profession and have infiltrated your ranks, if you’ve witnessed violence or criminality at a truck stop and would like to see security improvements, if you have video footage of criminal behavior at truck-stops or along the interstate and would like to explore licensing it, please contact: Allen or Donna Smith via email at: info@truckingsocialmedia.com and your request will be forwarded to the producers.

The Annual Truck Driver Social Media Convention is a gathering of industry specialists and professional drivers working together to raise the standards of the trucking industry.
